Going to the borders!
Hi everyone!
I wish I was a wizard. I could just wave my magic wand, and BAM! My whole week laid right in front of me in an email. I don't have lots of time right now, but the last two weeks have been wonderful!
First thing, I'm being transferred! I'm going to Galashiels with Sister Guilain, who's from Tahiti. It'll be fun! We have a car, and I'll be the driver... It should be good! :) I'm so excited. Yesterday was pretty hard saying goodbye to all the members though. Sister Destribois and I couldn't stop crying. My makeup was gone by the time we took pictures. I should've known in the first place not to put any on..
Big miracle! We have a friend who struggles with social anxiety. He's such a sweet soul but hasn't come to church since meeting the missionaries because of this. We invited him to come to church so I could say goodbye. (We gotta use my leaving to our advantage!) He didn't come, so we were a bit bummed, but after our church meetings, he texted saying he was outside. So we ran out and started talking to him, then invited him inside to join us for the munch and mingle going on. He hesitated and said no at first, but then decided to try. So we walked in with him, and when he saw all the people in the cultural hall, he panicked a wee bit. After talking him through it, he decided to come in! So we introduced him to a few members and the Bishop, and he stayed for the whole thing!!! It was such a huge step for him. We've been teaching him since before I came into Cumbernauld, and he's never been to church. We invited him to come next week, and he seemed unsure. But I have faith! It was so incredible!!!
It's been a good week. The Lord's mercy and blessing never cease to amaze and inspire me. I love Him so much.
