They must like me....

Hello everyone!

Today is transfers, and I'm staying in Cumbernauld for another transfer! But Sister Francis is leaving me and is going to the Republic of Ireland :( I'm getting Sister Destribois! She's from France, so that is pretty darn exciting :) I'm really sad that Sister Francis is leaving though. I'm going to miss her so much. Our time together went by much too fast

This week was amazing! Sister Francis is happy that I discovered that she's not actually a wussy pants (joke, I already knew that she wasn't--she's a lot stronger than me). She's had a hard time with the bikes, and asked if she could try mine just to see if there was any difference. So I tried out her bike and found that it was much harder to pedal than mine, even with the gears lowered. Pretty sure I was having an asthma attack at one point (jk again, I've never had a problem with asthma.) A couple of times on that bike, I did feel like I had some cotton in my lungs though haha. We made it through. Took some breathers. Walked up some hills rather than risking a fall off the ginormous thing I don't know how she survived. Hopefully Sister Destribois likes to bike? And is a strong cookie? Oh man.

Chris passed his interview and got baptised on Saturday! The ward did so well in helping us and in supporting him. We were so happy, and he was too. He said that he felt all warm and fuzzy :) And Sister Francis and I were able to act as witnesses! That was so neat! Such a sweet experience. He was confirmed yesterday and felt good, and also bore his testimony at his baptism and at church, as it was fast Sunday yesterday. I'm so happy for him.

We had a couple of our friends attending his baptism and church on Sunday, which was wonderful. They both really enjoyed the baptism, and Karen has been making off the cuff comments about be baptised in the future. She's super jokey and funny and a bit radical, so I feel like it's saying something when she mentions being baptised. Even though she talks about it as a joke, I still feel some seriousness in her voice when she talks about it haha. We are definitely getting there!

Lots of little miracles this week. Cumbernauld is the blessed land. I'm grateful to be here for another transfer :)

Love you! Have a wonderful, fabulous week!
