Bicycle Crashes.....

Hallo hallo my dear laddies and lassies!

Sister Francis and I are doing swell here. Most exciting thing that's happened this week: we have our friend Chris on date for baptism!! We brought it up during our lesson, and he was just like, "I want to do it before this one leaves," pointing at me haha. He just seemed and still seems so sure and ready, and you would've never expected it! And it's quite cool, because he's had a rough past year, and can't ever seem to find peace or happiness. But he actually told us that he was happy and excited later that night. It was amazing. The Spirit was definitely working through him!

And on Friday we had what we thought was going to be a bi-zone cluster with Paisley, that'd be over by 12:00, but were surprised when we arrived and found out that it was pretty much another zone conference!! We were there till 3:00 and had to reschedule a few things haha. It was so great though!! We talked about a few things that really hit me. One was when Elder Chen gave an instruction on Becky Craven's talk, "Careful Vs Casual." He said that when we are careful, we are "full of care" and love our calling and treat it with respect and dignity, just as Christ would. I've made a wee list of things that I need to be more careful with in my life as a missionary. :)

Then President Macdonald talked about conversion. I love President!! He's the best ever! He spoke about how the only way we can reach real, continuous conversion is through Christ's Atonement, and we can can only access his Atoning Sacrifice through the Holy Ghost, and how an essential, necessary way to really have the Spirit with you is through obedience, and diligence! Dang, it was powerful. It's actually so crazy how much I've grown since the beginning of my mission. And I know it's only because of Christ that I've been able to change.

We found our less active's records! Woot! We were afraid that the church headquarters wouldn't be able to locate Sarah's records and send them over, and that she'd have to be rebaptised, but all is well. She got so excited when she heard that they'd been found. She's so amazing. We taught her the word of wisdom, and she immediately committed to quitting tea and coffee! She has so much faith! And we're hoping to be able to teach her little girl soon I love kiddos!

We also had a little miracle. Sister Francis wasn't feeling too great Saturday night, but we decided to still go chapping. We were doing this line of doors, and a couple doors down we saw a man and his wife about to go inside. They were walking a wee dog, and the dog wouldn't go inside. It just keep staring at us and barking. So, I thought it'd be even more awkward to chap their door after they went in, so we just walked up to them, their dog barking still and asked to take our survey. They were like, "sure thang!" So we had an awesome 45 minute talk/lesson and set up a time to meet again! Woot! I'm always trying to avoid awkward situations, but it's always cool when you push through it. Gives you some nice feels :p #oneawkwardmomentforaneternityofblessings

So yeah, pretty neat week. We also just barely got our bikes! We tried them out today and I've already fallen off and skinned my knee Pretty sure they're meant for Elders. They're too big for me haha. Just be warned if you don't get an email from me next week. I could be kilt or in a hospital. Just kidding. We should be alright...

The ward here is still amazing. I never want to leave! They've given us so much food and so many sweets. We didn't really have to buy any groceries today, because our cupboards and fridge are so pack!

We're living the dream! I love being a missionary so so much:)

I love you all! Have a great week!
Love, Sister Syphus xxx
