Little Seeds
Hi everyone!!
I hope you're all doing well! I miss you all!!
We've had a very nice, very warm week! The past few days have been so hot. I'm dead. I've been blessed to have been called to a typically cold mission. I don't think I could've survived otherwise. It is super beautiful though!
Our returning member friend gifted us with a ginormous bag of food and snacks after we taught him earlier this week. He is an incredible human being. He still struggles to believe, but he wants to so bad, and he keeps and loves every single commitment we give him. It's been such a blessing to be able to know and teach him.
We had a few other lessons this week. We're really working with so many wonderful people. They're all so strong in their own ways and are just so good. They just need to more fully realise that Christ can heal them. This morning I was studying about faith. When we have faith in Jesus Christ, we believe in Him, accept Him as our Savior, follow Him and His commandments, trust in Him and His ability to help us, and have confidence in Him and His power. One thing that I've had to try and remember is that Christ and God are much more powerful than my weaknesses and shortcomings. None of my wrongs are greater than He is. If we have true faith in Him, He can help us overcome ANY challenge. ANY shortcoming. ANY sin. That, my friends, is the beauty of Christ. He was perfect, and sinless, and God's Only Begotten, and only He could suffer all that we ever have and ever will. And He did it! And because He did it we don't have to wallow in all of our mistakes and negatives!
I'm trying to increase my faith in Him. God gifts us with tiny seeds. It's our responsibility to nourish them and help them grow. We can do that through obedience, regular prayerful study, humility, and righteous living :)
