Killin it in County Kerry!
Neato! I hope everyone's doing great! Happy Fathers' Day for all the fathers! It was a bit weird. Hearing the fathers' day talks in church was kinda strange. It brought me back to my farewell talk last year. It was Fathers' day then too, and my talk was on fathers. I can't believe it's almost been a year since I came over here. Time flies way too fast! It's actually a wee bit scary.
Anyway, I'm grateful for my Daddio, for his love and wisdom, and the way he exemplifies my Father in Heaven. I'm grateful for Him, and for all He has given me, including my wonderful father and the rest of my family.
This week has been awesome! I love Sister Elison so much. We hit it off right away and talked the whole 3 ½ hour drive from Dublin to Tralee. She's so funny and has a lisp, which is pretty dang cool.

I sometimes wish I had a lisp It makes me sad to know that we'll only have 6 weeks together before she goes home!

We've had lots of lessons and lots of time to get to know the area. We're still adjusting! Tralee's a tiny branch, but with awesome members. Weve already been fed by some a couple of times! We had two of our friends come to church with us. Our teaching pool is pretty big, so that's really nice.
I've driven three times so far. I've been doing very well considering the tight, windy roads, thousands or roundabouts and the whole left side thing. It'll be hard to get used to America driving again haha.
We've been seeing so many miracles already! I'm so excited for this transfer! The Republic is amazing!!
I miss you all! If you ever have a desire to, I'd love to hear from you and catch up with what's been going on!
Love you lots!

To Mom: Hay Mam!!
Yes, the baptism HAPPENED!!! Mom, it was so perfect!! AAHH I loved it so much! And Shane bore his testimony afterward and it was beautiful. His mom was at the point that she would be okay with whatever he chose, but didn't come to the baptism. His Grandfather was going to come, but was stuck at home with a bad cold, so that was sad, but he was really happy. This week has been pretty chaotic. We had another scare with Shane on Saturday, when he came with a bunch of questions that his uncle had typed up about the church and history and such (his uncle's a theologist dude), Shane had some questions too. A lot of them had a bit of an Anti-ish feel, and we had no idea how to answer most of them. We kept telling him to just continue in prayer and trust in the Lord and the answers he's received. He was pretty confused and scared I think too. We left each other with all of us close to tears and him ripping up his page of questions and throwing them away. He spent the next few hours praying, and texted saying that he had no doubts and still wanted to be baptised. He's so in tune mom! And so smart and prepared. It's been such a beautiful opportunity to know him!
So yes, he was baptised (on the 9th)and it was perfect!
And I'm staying in Derry!!! Just kidding I'm leaving. But I'm not getting Sister McNamara, and I'm not going to Montrose, and I'm not even going to Scotland! I'm going to the Republic! WAAATT. Never thought it'd happen, since I haven't been vetted or anything, but I guess the mission office found a loophole and missionaries can be there for up to 90 days (2 ish transfers). So I'll almost positively only be there for two or less transfers. My area is Tralee, and I've heard lots of great things about it! I'll be whitewashing in with Sister Elison, who's in Sister McNamara's group. So that means I'll have four companions going home in six weeks... :(( I'll be killing her off! She was also trained in Derry, and is now coming from Montrose, so we'll have TONS to talk about!! I'm actually so excited! We're also getting a car, so if I have to drive, pray for us please
Derry got whitewashed out. Both of the elders are leaving, and Sis W is as well. They're all going to Scotland! They're replacing the elders, but taking the sister team out. So Derry'll be back to one set! It was so crazy when we got our call. Completely unexpected. Pretty sure I was a bit in shock. Some of the members cried. It was a bit of a surprise, because no one cried when Sis p or Sis Cox or the previous elders left! Super bittersweet. We got lots of pics! Shane was pretty dang sad, we're all pretty much best friendos. We called him last night to say bye, and he told us to email him at least once a month haha. I'm going to miss him so so much. Anyway, Sister Wilkinson will see Sister McNamara at Scotland South Conference, so she'll see her grandma before she dies. I won't though :( And that makes me kinda sad. Oh well! Sister Wilkinson's new companion is SISTER WU!!!!! I'm so excited for her! She'll be killing her off. It's gonna be so great!
So I'm going to do my darnedest to kiss the blarney stone this transfer, and go to Killarney (tell dad). I'll be going to Limerick for district council every week! I'M SO EXCITED MOM. When I first got the call I was pretty bummed, since I wanted to go to Scotland so bad, but I'm getting really really excited and happy about it right now. I can tell this is the right thing, and that it'll be a great transfer!
Hopefully I'll be able to video call! I should be able to, but I'm not sure what the other missionaries' plans are. I'm in Belfast right now. Sister Elison will be coming in at 2:30, and we'll be driving to Dublin today. Might get to Tralee tonight? Not too sure. It's around 7 hours drive from here. 5 from Dublin.
Thanks for all the pictures!! I hope you all are having a blast without me! Thanks for doing actual fun things while I'm gone! (Didn't think I was THAT expensive) jk. You can do fun things without me I guess. I mean, you'll all be going to Disneyland too! JERKS.
I love you!! And miss you! And hopefully I'll see you in a few hours! If not, what time on Sunday would you like me to call?
Have a great week with everyone mammy!!
