Hallelujah!

This week was full of ups and downs. Crazy. Some things happened that brought be to a pretty low place, but then other things happened that brought me to life again. :)
The best part of the week was exchanges in Belfast. I was with Sister Belliston, and that day was absolutely filled with miracles. I felt extra bold, extra brave, and extra happy, and it was such a blessing, especially as I had been especially down the night before. We spent some time GQing, and I met some pretty awesome people. One of them started crying while I was talking with her, and then of course, I began to cry. I also talked to a man sitting on a bench. I had never done that before because I always feel like it's being too invasive, but it was pretty funny. I could see the "oooh great" expression in his face as I approached him. He was NOT interested, and got up to leave with his wife pretty soon. I just laughed. So funny. I talked to another guy named Mike, who's from Georgia!! He was in Ireland for super league basketball, and GUESS WHAT. He has a really close friend from Farmington Utah, who had served a mission!! WOTT THE HECK. He was really really interested, and I was able to set up an appointment with the STLs for a later date. Hopefully it goes well. :)

We had lunch with an older member called Kate Nesbit. She's the cutest, funniest lady ever. As we walked to a cafe, she just threaded her arms through ours, and I just melted. Oh my goodness.

Later that day we had two awesome lessons, and gqed a guy from El Salvador! #shoutouttoerik! He was really cool, and we were able to get his number. Aahhh it was such a good day! I was just on such a high!

We met with Anthony, and he's been trying. Patrick on the other hand won't, so we're probably going to drop him. We got a referral from the Dublin sisters, who found and taught a guy who lives close by Derry, so we'll be teaching him on Tuesday hopefully!! Anyway, it's been a good week. :)

To close, I just wanted to bear my testimony on how the scriptures can liken so easily to us! During my lowest point, as I went into my studies, I read a part in 1 Nephi that I was able to substitute myself in, and it was perfect. I felt like it was just for me, and it's helped me so much. Read the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon, every day!! God has given them to us for a reason. I heard someone say that we communicate to God through prayer, and He communicates to us through the scriptures. Both of those things are so important. Our Heavenly Father wants to help and guide us, but we need to be doing certain things in order to allow Him and the Spirit to fill our lives.

I love you all so much!! And I miss you! Never forget the Goodness of God!
