Holidays :)
Happy New Year's Eve!
SO. MANY. HOLIDAYS!
I hope you all are doing wonderful during this beautiful holiday season, and that your Christmas was merry and bright (if not white)!
Christmas Eve, Christmas, and Boxing Day we spent all day at members' homes. We watched a couple of movies, played some games, ate lots of yummy food, cut some hair, painted some nails (Elder Dunn had us paint his toenails *GAG GAG*), and rejoiced in the Spirit of CHRISTmas!! It was so wonderful. On Christmas I skyped my family, and it was wonderful. I didn't think I would cry, but while it was ringing (or whatever you want to call it) my heart began to raise and my palms got all sweaty, and then Erik's (my oldest bro) face was just BOOM on the screen and I started to cry!! (Not because of your ugliness. Don't even comment on that). I didn't even realise how much I missed them! But talking to them was the best way to spend Christmas. :)
One low thing was that I was pretty sick all week. It began with just a little sore throat on Monday, and then it got progressively worse. I guess I had a fever, and I was super weak, so we ended up staying in the flat for the rest of the week. Plus Sister Peterson had to pack all her stuff, because she's going to SCOTLAND baby! I miss that place so much. But she's been in Ireland the whole year she's been in the field (technically not a year yet... you're almost there!), and so she's been freaking out a bit. I'm getting Sister Cox. She came out a transfer after me, and I've only met her once before. She intimidated me a little, but I'm sure she'll be great! I'm in Belfast right now with Sister Quintana, and we'll be temp comps until I pick Sis Cox up tonight.
Honestly, that's pretty much for the week! Oh, and we had our last THREE-HOUR CHURCH MEETING EVER!! It's so weird to think about, but I'm so excited to implement all of the changes! In the last hour, we talked about the changes and how they'll stretch us and our spiritual self-reliance. I hope we all do our best to stay on the boat, and that we never find ourselves adrift and lost. This change will either make or break us. But it's our choice.
Anyway, I love you all lots, and I hope you're all happy and safe! (Pretty sure this is my shortest email in my mission history).

PS I love you so much mom. I'm not too sure yet about my New Years Resolutions! I know I for sure want one to be to read the Book of Mormon EVERYDAY in my personal study. Sometimes, expecially p-days, it gets swallowed up in the business, so I'm going to make an extra effort to do that. Same with Preach My Gospel. I love that book. those are pretty basic, and I'm sure I'll think of more. :)
I'm staying in Derry and getting sister Cox. She's been out for three transfers, so I've been out one more. Everyone has thought I would train ever since I got out of training, but nope! Haha. I'm a bit nervous, but it'll be good :)
I'm glad Christmas was nice for you! It sounds fun! Besides all the sickies! I've been sick too, and it's been a pain, but I'm finally all better now!
Anyway, I love you so much! do you have work this week at all?
Me and Zac at the McGeady's home on Christmas Eve. I think he might be crushing on me. We had some nice, MISSIONARY APPROPRIATE snuggles while watching some movies.
At the Ramrajs' after our hecka yummy Christmas lunch. We were so full and sleepy.
hugs
